Star Wars: Birth of the Republic
While I’ll allow gambling against other players (NPCs and PCs) with no alterations to the existing rules there are some modifications to gambling against the House as defined on page 47 of the Core rulebook. Depending on where you go you will be limited to how much you can stake per game and if you choose to use some of the additional rules to gambling such as cheating here are the statistics. Gambling against the house is considered as playing the SW equivalent of Roulette, Blackjack, Betting on Races or Fights, etc.
Keep in mind the more reputable the establishment the higher the chance of being caught if you cheat. Not only are you having to beat the security systems but you have to beat the perception of the security personnel on the floor watching the players. Just because you beat the security doesn’t mean someone isn’t suspicious. If your suspected or caught expect to loose your last stake and be expelled from the establishment. In some cases law enforcement will be called.
